Sunday School
Our children’s Sunday School program from children
aged 3 through Grade 5 meets during the Sunday morning worship service.
Our children’s ministry seeks to guide children in their relationship with Christ by providing a loving atmosphere where they are fully accepted as children created in the image of God. We support parents as the primary disciple-makers and believe in the power of the discipleship through community, with church as family, helping children shape their character to be more like that of Christ.
What to expect on Sundays
Our Sunday School meets during the worship service. Children join their families in the sanctuary for the beginning of worship and then are dismissed to join their classes part way through the service.
We offer two classes – Age 3 through Grade 1, and Grades 2 – 5.
Drop-off your child in their classroom, connect with a teacher or helper, and say a quick, reassuring goodbye to your child.
Please pick up your child promptly after the worship service is over.
Our two classes meet every Sunday, September through June. In July and August, we have one class for age 3 through Grade 2.
Our Curriculum
We use DWELL as the curriculum for our Sunday School. DWELL invites kids to live into God’s story of creation, fall, redemption, and restoration. And it encourages kids to live out of God’s story every day as they respond to God’s call.
Each DWELL session provides fun, interactive ways for leaders and kids to learn and explore as together they find their place in God’s Big Story.
Safe Church
Our church is diligent in ensuring all program leaders with children and vulnerable persons follow our Safe Church policies and practices. Each leader renews their criminal check regularly, receives regular training, and is expected to adhere to Safe Church practices.
